Garden Concept
Design
The founding concept for a garden, drawn to the architecture of the site, its overall style and the way it will be lived in.
from $2,500
Terra Anima — the living garden
We create harmony between people and nature. Project by project.
Our Philosophy
HONG LUC designs gardens the way a composer writes a score. First the structure: how a space is entered, where the eye rests, how one zone flows into the next.
Then the balance: proportion between stone and green, light and shade, the built and the grown.
And finally the character — the detail that could belong to no other garden but yours.

The Living Palette
We design for the whole year, so a space is never bare. Choose a season to see how the palette turns.
Everything leans toward the light. Soft greens, first blossom, a sense of beginning.
The garden at full voice. Deep greens, long shadows, the hum of a space fully alive.
A slow, warm exhale. Bronze, russet and ember, with seedheads left to stand.
Structure revealed. Bare branches, evergreen bones, frost tracing every line we drew.
Words from the Garden
They did not give us the garden we asked for. They gave us the one we did not yet know how to describe.
Every season the courtyard becomes a different room. Nothing about it feels designed, and that is the whole art of it.
We came with a bare slope and a small budget. We left with a plan we could grow into, one year at a time.
The studio listened more than it spoke. By the first sketch, they already understood how we live outdoors.
Our Approach
We meet, read the site and listen closely — light, soil, sightlines and the way you want to live outdoors. Nothing is drawn until the place is understood.
The concept takes shape — zoning, circulation and the first structural moves. Ideas are tested quickly on paper before any of them harden.
Three-dimensional models and planting schemes turn the concept into something you can walk through in your mind before a single stone is laid.
We stay with the project through build and planting, holding the concept true from first delivery to the season the garden begins to grow into itself.
The Invitation
Tell us about the space and how you hope to live in it. Every garden we make begins as a single, unhurried conversation.
